Pastor Jeff Knott continues the Sermon Series on Revelation: The Time is Near with “The Harvest of the Earth”:
There’s a heaven to gain and a hell to shun.
Every person worships something; the devil doesn’t care what you worship as long it’s not the Lamb of God.
The Bible is clear – everyone is without excuse. No one can say at the end of time that they did not know.
The hour of judgement has come; you have to make a choice.
Jesus said at the beginning of His ministry, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” The call is to come and choose – the hour is upon us.
Every day, whether you are a Christian or not, you have to make the choice that Jesus is Lord.
In allowing Babylon, in allowing the isms of our world – communism, socialism and any other ism – to collapse and fade away is so that people will recognize the futility of human effort to save ourselves.
The full strength of God’s wrath is waiting for those who do not accept Jesus as Lord.
This is the bad news to the good news – there are consequences to the choices you make.
We have to consider this topic with tears.
There’s a remedy, you can change your destiny right now in the life that God has given you.
The harvest has been going on all along – Jesus is building His Kingdom.
The winepress outside the city is the cross. The blood flowing copiously is the blood of Jesus. It’s the blood shed for you and I. The blood makes the harvest possible. There’s blood enough to cover us all.
Judgement is horrible, but hasn’t God made it possible for everyone to find salvation?
We cannot save ourselves, but God has gone to the uttermost to save us. The cross shows how far God goes to repair the relationship.
There is a way home, there is a way out of judgement because judgement has already been paid for.
